Wonderful place! Filet mignon steak is so juicy with great seasoning. Honeysuckle and signature oysters are very fresh and light. Price is reasonable
Eating at 19 Raw Oyster Bar is a solid dining experience. They feature classic New England seafood interpreted and influenced by some modern elements. They have extensive menu items but the seafood is the core, especially nice assortment of raw oysters and lobster roll. The setting of the restaurant is very cozy. This is one of the bigger restaurants in Edgartown but feel like the you’re dining at home. Not a tourist trap for sure.
This place is a must have on the island. Every meal we ordered was next level. We started with a variety of oysters, all of which were cleaned and tasted very fresh. All the main course meals were excellent. One of the best lunch spots we’ve tried in the Northeast.
We loved eating here! The oysters were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the cocktail, kimchi, and vinegar based sauce. The cider we ordered was sweeter than expected. Good, but different. The waiter was very friendly and helpful as was the host. We would absolutely return here and try the oysters again. We went around 245 and they were out of several of the oysters. The restaurant was beautiful inside and out!
First class food and such a joy to dine al fresco at 19 Raw. I tried their new Onion Soup and loved it. And, of course, anything from the sea, especially the oysters, are always fantastic. My servers, Gigi and Lenya, were so welcoming and professional. An all around wonderful evening. Thank you!
We had a lovely meal here today. After calling the Atlantic (our former favorite), they had said on the phone we could eat outside but we arrived there only to be told the outside was closed. So we went to 19 Raw instead and were treated well by all the servers and had a great meal. We ordered the cauliflower, the octopus, the spinach, and the fries. I think this will become our new favorite!
Delicious food! We stopped by here randomly for dinner one night and were so pleasantly surprised. We sat outside and the weather was lovely but a lot do the trees overhead but little tid bits of foliage in our food, but this can’t be helped. We opted to try the oysters and several appetizers rather than order entrees and we couldn’t be happier with that choice. The tuna and steak tartare absolutely delectable!
We arrived just before they closed down for an hour between lunch and dinner. Not once did we feel rushed. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The large back door that opens to the patio was open as it was just a beautiful day!
